The day I was first called a “new media guru”

Submitted by Jennifer on February 16, 2009 – 7:44 pmNo Comment

It was with wariness that I agreed to be interviewed by a student journalist with an interest in my Blogging 101 course at Loyalist College.

The writer said he was curious about what could be covered in such a course. “Lots!” I shouted; and proceeded to elaborate on the importance of multimedia Web content (Jennifer Lester Media plug goes here), search engine optimization, monetization of blogs, blogging platforms and so on and so forth.

What resulted was an article where I was not ONLY called a “new media guru” for the first time, but ALSO quoted as having said, “farting around”… which is true…I really did say that.

Read Gary Musson’s article in the Loyalist College Online Pioneer.
