The Regent Theatre 90th Anniversary Gala

Submitted by Jennifer on October 30, 2008 – 11:06 amNo Comment

It was a lovely summer day when I sat down with gala committee chair, Veronica Cluett, and theatre general manager, Sharon Jarvis, at Miss Lily’s in Picton. Over coffee, we came to an agreement that I would host the gala celebrations for the Regent Theatre on November 22nd… and we’ve been full steam ahead ever since.

As a theatre school grad and bone fide County Girl, it’s my honour to host this gala celebration. It will be a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Regent Theatre Foundation and the founding Cook family…and it’ll be wholly entertaining!

The gala will take place the evening of November 22, 2008 and include a wine reception and live performance of the war-time romance Could You Wait?, starring Louise Pitre and Joe Matheson.

For tickets, call the theatre box office at 613-476-8416 or visit www.theregenttheatre.org.
